- If you get selected then you will be working on Persistent project assignment in final year ( BE project )
- This project will also considered for your regular academic course as per university requirement
- During campus placement selected students will get added advantage in selection process Direct Interview
- It will be entry in Persistent if you’re doing excellent in process of BE projects
- In case you get selected & working on BE project that does not mean that you got employment with company; still you need to clear their selection process during their campus placement in final year but you have added advantage over other due this experience with them
Selection Process: -
Online Test (More on Technical + Aptitude) (NO Negative)
Technical question based on C/C++ / Data Structure / C N / DBMS / OS / Software Engg (most question from this subject). All question based on this topic with part of Aptitude (Reasoning / time & work / speed & distance numerical / probability / ratio / numbers etc)
Date: It will be in last week of March (25th to 30th March any time)
Test time: 1 -2 hour - Online test
My Experience:-
My exam was on 25 March, the question asked in the online test were containing question from all subjects (given above) in equal proportion but I have heard from some of my friends that the question they have got were more on some topics like some were were having more questions on apti and some others in one precise technical subject. They mainly ask software engg questions on testing and SDLC
It consisted 60 question 60 minutes an online test on software developed by persistent only (Testmate). It consisted 5 logical questions, 2-3 quantitative questions, Technical questions from OS, DBMS, Testing, CNT, Data Structure (mostly on trees, inorder, postorder, preorder). About 8-10 questions on C (quiet easy) questions on output of c programs.
In cpp they ask about mutable constructors and some very basic question.
In os they asked numerical questions on Page tables,TLP, Page fault %.
In cn (Not much questions) there were tough questions like the speed of data in some wired cables, the cable names I had not heard at all.
Data structures mainly on link list, searching, sorting.
DBMS simple queries.
Basically they focus on all engineering syllabus covered for IT or CS stream.
From our college only 3 students were selected including me in the month of April/May at the time of PL they declare the results and after University exams they allotted us guide for BE projects. The project assigned by them is not much tough like the college says to do IEEE ( :) phd) projects. The project allotted were simple and external also doesn't ask much as it is sponsored by the company. Company give us the id so that we can meet the guides.
After 2 months in the first week of July there is Placements program only for project selected students.They send us mail about the placement and we have to visit the company for placements .
